The rate of high blood pressure in Canada continues to rise. Poor diet and stress are putting Canadians at risk every day. Research by the Heart and Stroke Foundation has found that 6 million Canadian adults have high blood pressure. That’s more than 19% of the Canadian population. Even more frightening is that more than 17% of these Canadians are not aware they have high blood pressure.
